Spain has mountains, Spain has sea and ocean, making it the ideal holiday destination for this mountain- and oceanlover. I report here about two extended-summer weeks in september 2014 (some pictures).
I especially enjoyed the wonderful ecology of the Spanish snails. How they hide away from the drought for days or weeks in a row and only come out after a storm.
I also hosted a guest post from Sofie Lembrechts, an ecologic photographer searching for big mammals in the Spanish mountains.
